Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, slicers, and food processors Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking areas in compliance with food safety regulations Assist with meal assembly, plating, and garnishing to ensure attractive presentation Follow food handling procedures diligently to ensure safety and quality control throughout the food preparation process Collaborate with kitchen staff on menu planning and daily specials to enhance customer satisfaction Adhere strictly to safety standards in production, including proper knife skills and slicing techniques Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining consistency and quality Experience Previous experience in a food industry setting such as restaurants or catering environments is a must Demonstrated dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus for understanding specialized meal requirements Strong knowledge of food safety management practices and proper food handling procedures. Food Handlers Certificate is a must. Proven ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in meal preparation Experience working in fast-paced kitchens with excellent communication skills among team members Familiarity with culinary techniques including knife skills, slicing methods, and cooking methods Prior experience operating commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Embark on a rewarding culinary journey where your skills make a difference!
