Job Description

Job Summary Luth's Whipped Brew & Cafe is looking for an experienced Line Cook / Kitchen Lead who can work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced kitchen. We need someone who is organized, dependable, able to multitask, and comfortable handling multiple orders at once. The right person should be able to take initiative and recognize what needs to be done without constant direction. This position includes cooking, food prep, inventory, stocking, cleaning, and maintaining an organized kitchen throughout the shift. Duties Prepare breakfast and lunch menu items accurately and efficiently Cook made-to-order items while managing multiple tickets at once Complete daily food prep and maintain proper portioning Follow recipes and maintain consistent food quality Monitor inventory and communicate when products or supplies are running low Receive, organize, rotate, and properly store food and supplies Restock food, beverages, and kitchen supplies throughout the shift Follow FIFO procedures and proper food storage requirements Keep workstations, prep areas, equipment, floors, and kitchen areas clean and sanitized Wash dishes and complete cleaning duties as needed Complete opening, daily, and closing kitchen tasks Follow all food safety and sanitation requirements Stay productive during slower periods by prepping, stocking, cleaning, and preparing for upcoming service Assist with catering and larger food orders when needed Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older Previous professional line cook or kitchen experience required Must have a current Food Handler Card Must be able to pass the required background check for facility access Must provide a current negative TB test Must have experience working in a fast-paced kitchen Must be able to multitask and prioritize multiple orders Must be dependable and punctual Must be able to work independently and take initiative Must understand proper food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety Must be comfortable with cleaning, stocking, inventory, and food prep in addition to cooking We are looking for someone who understands that working in a kitchen involves more than just cooking. When orders slow down, there is always something to do— prep, stock, clean, organize, check inventory, and get ready for the next rush. If you are an experienced cook who takes pride in your work, stays organized, and can keep up in a busy kitchen, we'd love to hear from you.
Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 40.0 per week
