Seeking a baker and line/prep cook for a small cafe & sourdough pizzeria in Capitola Village (Part time position that could lead to full time if desired). Must be willing and able to multitask and enthusiasm for baking (sourdough in particular) is a plus! Must be available to work weekends (Sat & Sun, 6AM-2:30pm). Weekday shifts (8AM-2:30pm) are also available if desired.

Duties include:

• Making sourdough bagels Saturdays & Sundays along with baking off pastries and prepping for the day.
• Working the line through breafast & lunch: making open-faced bagel sandwiches with seasonal/rotating toppings, Detroit-style pizzas and seasonal offerings like soups & salads
• Prepping sourdough, sauces, spreads, pickles and pastry batters/doughs
• Cashiering (we all take turns ringing up customers & assembling DoorDash orders)
• Dishwashing & cleaning stations throughout the day (we all share these responsibilities) Please note that this is not a complete list of duties.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. Compensation is dependent upon experience and includes tips. We are a small team of kind, respectful and hardworking people!
