Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Line Cook / Head Cook to join our culinary team! In this vital role, you will lead food preparation efforts, oversee kitchen operations, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, delicious meals in a fast-paced environment. Your culinary expertise and leadership skills will help create an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents while maintaining strict food safety standards and inspiring your team to excel. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of menu items Experience Proven experience as a line cook or head cook in a high-volume restaurant or catering environment. Strong background in food preparation techniques including grilling, braising, poaching, and meal assembly. Demonstrated ability to operate commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Extensive knowledge of food safety management systems and sanitizing procedures. Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and food production for diverse dietary needs. Previous dietary aide or dietary department experience is advantageous. Excellent knife skills combined with the ability to work quickly under pressure during busy service hours. Familiarity with fine dining standards or high-end restaurant environments is preferred. Strong understanding of the food industry's best practices for quality control, portioning, and presentation. Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer satisfaction.
