We're searching for culinary-driven team members: the kind of prep cooks who can prep with finesse and hustle while also jumping into the beautiful chaos of a restaurant with knives ready and standards high. If you thrive in high-energy environments, appreciate precision, and believe great restaurants are built by teams willing to do a little bit of everything, we'd love to meet you. Think polished, but never pretentious. Coastal, but elevated. Organized & adaptable enough to build By The Sea with us from the ground up.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipes and guidelines Wash, peel, and chop vegetables and other ingredients Set up workstations and stock inventory appropriately Label and stock all ingredients on shelves for easy access Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all prep areas Assist chefs and line cooks with various tasks as needed Follow food safety and hygiene protocols at all times
Qualifications:
One year of kitchen or prep cook experience Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
