Job Summary Harwood House is looking for a reliable, hardworking Line Cook / Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. This role combines station prep with hands-on line cooking during service — you'll be responsible for getting your station ready and then executing dishes accurately and efficiently while the kitchen is running at full speed. What You'll Do Prepare ingredients (chopping, portioning, marinating, sauces, etc.) according to recipes and prep lists Set up, stock, and break down your assigned station before and after service Cook and plate menu items to spec during service, working efficiently under time pressure Communicate clearly with the kitchen team to keep tickets moving and timing on point Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times Properly label, date, and store food to minimize waste Maintain a clean, organized station throughout your shift Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as needed What We're Looking For Prior line cook or kitchen experience preferred Ability to work efficiently, multitask, and stay calm during a busy service Comfortable on your feet for the duration of a shift and able to lift up to 25-50 lbs Reliable, punctual, and a team player Food Handler's Card (or willingness to obtain one before starting) Availability to work some nights, weekends, and holidays

Pay:

$19.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 24.0 per week
