The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of menu items, ensuring high-quality food presentation and adherence to safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to showcase culinary skills in a fast-paced environment, contributing to exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards Operate fryers, pasta cooker and other kitchen equipment efficiently and safely Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sanitizing work surfaces and equipment Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times Assist in menu planning and suggest new ideas to enhance the dining experience Ensure timely delivery of food orders to meet service standards Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours Experience Previous experience in a food service environment, preferably in a restaurant or catering setting Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods, especially frying and grilling Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper handling of ingredients Experience with menu planning and meal preparation is a plus Strong knife skills and attention to detail in food presentation Experience in fine dining or the food industry is advantageous but not required Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
