Summary:
This position is responsible for preparing superior quality food, which meets standards for flavor, texture, appearance, temperature, nutritional value, and palatability for patients, patrons, and catering guests. At all times, correct food handling and sanitary procedures in accordance with health regulatory standards are integral to this position.
Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent is required. 2. Culinary skills in food preparation, presentation and garnishment are required. 3. Knowledge of basic mathematics with a high degree of accuracy, weights and measures, ability to read computerized recipes and modified diet spreadsheets and experience in directing the work of others is required. 4. Three (3) years quantity cooking experience is preferred. 5. Food Handler's Permit is preferred. 6. Knowledge of age-specific nutrition requirements to meet needs of patients is preferred.
Pay Range:
$25.63- $34.61
