Job Description
Dietary Cook for Assisting Living Facility in Fullerton CA is needed. We are looking for a candidate, preferably with experience in senior living retirement community setting or with kitchen experience in a restaurant or hospital with minimum 2 year plus experience. The position starts immediately and requires mornings and afternoon shifts, weekend, and holiday hours.
Candidates must be and/or have:
- Food certification card is mandatory
- quick learner who can handle high volume with speed and accuracy
- passionate about food and creating palatable meals
- Ability to communicate with a friendly demeanor with our elderly residents and staff
- hard working team player
- Candidate must be creative, self motivated leader, highly organized, and have good communication skills
- Computer skills needed
- Candidates must understand overall food service production, be knowledgeable of state and federal regulations, and have experience in quality food production and excellent dining service
- MUST pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including a physical and a TB test
