Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of the food industry. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, providing high-quality meals to our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in menu planning and food preparation for daily service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations. Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives and other food preparation tools. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service. Help train new kitchen staff as needed. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies. Requirements Proven experience as a cook or dietary aide in the food service industry. Strong skills in food preparation, including knife skills and cooking techniques. Knowledge of fine dining standards and practices is preferred. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. A passion for cooking and creating exceptional dining experiences.
