Jamaican Restaurant Inglewood, CA Pay:

$18.50/hour We are a Jamaican restaurant in Inglewood looking for an experienced Prep Chef to join our kitchen team. We're looking for someone who is hardworking, dependable, humble, and willing to be part of a team . This is a hands-on position, and previous professional kitchen experience is required . Responsibilities Prepare meats, vegetables, sauces, seasonings, and other ingredients for daily service Follow recipes, prep lists, and portion standards consistently Wash, cut, peel, chop, and portion ingredients Properly label, date, rotate, and store food Keep prep areas clean and organized Follow food-safety and sanitation procedures Assist with cleaning, dishes, and other kitchen duties as needed Make sure prep is completed accurately and on time Pitch in wherever needed during busy periods What We're Looking For Professional kitchen/prep experience required Strong basic knife and food-preparation skills Reliable and punctual Hardworking and able to maintain a steady pace Humble, respectful, and able to take direction Team player with the attitude that no task is beneath anyone Organized and able to work without constant supervision Food Handler Card required Pay $18.50 per hour We are a small, growing restaurant and are looking for someone who wants to be part of building a strong kitchen team.
