Pay:
$17.00 per hour Job Description Are you energetic, fast-paced, and passionate about food? Chicken Nation is looking for a reliable Line Cook / Prep Cook to join our fast food team! In this role, you'll be at the heart of our kitchen, preparing high-quality menu items, operating commercial fryers and equipment, and keeping our kitchen running smoothly during peak hours. Responsibilities Prepare, fry, and cook signature chicken items and side dishes according to company recipes and standards. Maintain high speed, accuracy, and efficiency during busy meal rushes. Keep work areas, prep stations, commercial fryers, and equipment clean, sanitized, and organized. Follow strict food safety guidelines, correct storage methods, and proper kitchen hygiene standards. Assist with basic prep work, restocking inventory, and kitchen closing/opening duties. Work closely with team members to ensure excellent order accuracy and speed of service.
Qualifications Experience:
1+ years of experience in fast food or high-volume kitchen prep/line cooking preferred.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment (fryers, grills, hold stations).
Work Style:
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, strong communication, and a team-first mindset.
Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and work flexibly (including evenings, weekends, or holidays).
