Job Summary RÊVE a French bistro, Michelin recognized since 2021 is seeking a dedicated and experienced PM Pantry Cook to join our team. Our chef / owner is a member of the MCF, Master Chef's of France.
Set schedule:
Tuesday through Saturday starting at 2:00 PM The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining pantry items, ensuring food quality and safety standards are met. This role requires a strong understanding of kitchen operations, speak and understand English, and prior experience in a full-service restaurant environment . The PM Pantry Cook will play a vital part in supporting the overall food service operations and delivering a positive dining experience for our guests. Duties Prepare, portion, and organize pantry items according to established recipes and standards. Read and interpret kitchen orders, recipes, and safety guidelines accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pantry area, adhering to sanitation standards. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and communicating supply needs. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of ingredients for service. Follow all safety procedures and food handling regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Support the kitchen team during busy periods by efficiently managing pantry tasks. Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency meet established standards. Qualifications
REQUIRED
2-3 years of experience working in a full-service restaurant setting. Ability to follow recipes including pastry recipes for choux dough and creme anglaise (and more) Ability to understand, read, and write English effectively. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Pay:
$25.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 42.0 per week
