Responsibilities Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and freshness. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS accurately to process customer transactions swiftly and efficiently. Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, dining area, and cashier station, adhering to food safety regulations. Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling, change distribution, and balancing registers at shift end. Assist with food handling tasks such as bussing tables, restocking supplies, and supporting overall food preparation activities. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service while maintaining high-quality food standards. Qualifications Previous experience in food preparation or a quick service & fast food restaurant environment is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems like Toast. Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently. Food Handlers Permit a must, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totaling. Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while managing multiple responsibilities with excellent time management skills. Experience working in a café, grocery store, or retail food industry is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
