Line cooks also do prep and dishwashing.

Responsibilities:

Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, prepping meat, or preparing sauces) Cook menu items according to the "Lucky Luke way" Answer, report and follow head chef's instructions Dishwash throughout certain day shifts during down time Dishwash throughout certain night shifts Clean station as you go and properly shut down stations at the end of the night Stock inventory appropriately - FIFO Ensure that food comes out simultaneously and fast Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers Deep cleaning during down time Requirements Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks Familiar with industry's best practices
