Duties Prepare a variety of Mediterranean dishes, including grilling, braising, poaching, and food production, adhering strictly to established recipes and presentation standards. Assist in menu planning to ensure a diverse and appealing selection for guests. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the workspace. Follow food safety sanitizing procedures diligently to uphold health regulations and ensure guest safety. Support high-volume food production during peak hours while maintaining quality and consistency. Handle food with care, ensuring proper food handling techniques are followed at all times. Contribute to meal preparation for catering events or special occasions as needed. Maintain accurate knife skills and culinary techniques to enhance dish presentation and flavor. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service delivery. Qualifications Previous dietary aide experience or similar food service background preferred. Experience in menu planning, food preparation, and culinary techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and food safety management. Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and high-volume production practices. Strong understanding of food handling standards within the restaurant or food industry setting. Excellent knife skills and experience with recipe adherence for consistent quality. Prior experience in fine dining or catering environments is advantageous. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Demonstrated teamwork skills with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
