About the Role WoodFire Pies is hiring an experienced Pizza Cook to help deliver great food and friendly service at catering events and during food trailer service. We are a preferred vendor for Insomniac music festivals. This role may include working festival events, where late-night shifts may be required. You'll prepare and cook wood-fired pizzas, help set up events, serve guests, and assist with cleanup. We're looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work, works well with a team, and can stay organized during busy service. What You'll Do Prepare ingredients, stretch dough, top pizzas, and operate a wood-fired oven. Maintain consistent food quality and keep orders moving during service. Load and unload equipment, food, and supplies from the cargo van. Set up catering tables, décor, and equipment. Serve food and beverages with a friendly, professional attitude. Help clear tables, collect trash, and keep event areas clean. Assist with teardown, equipment storage, and cleanup. Monitor supplies and let the Team Lead know when stock is low. Follow food safety and sanitation procedures. What We're Looking For At least one year of pizza kitchen experience. Reliable transportation and punctual arrival at assigned event locations. Availability to work events across the four counties listed above. Availability for late-night shifts when required for festivals and other events. Ability to stand for extended periods and repeatedly lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with reasonable accommodation. Strong teamwork, communication, and organization. Willingness to help with all stages of an event, from setup through cleanup. Wood-fired oven and catering experience are preferred. Working Conditions This role includes outdoor work, exposure to oven heat and varying weather conditions, and physical activity throughout the shift. Hours depend on the event schedule and may include late nights at music festivals and other events.
