Job Description

Line Cook/Banquets Responsibilities Include:
Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces) Cook club menu items / banquet menu in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef's instructions Clean up station and take care of leftover food Stock inventory appropriately Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards. Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers • Performs any and all related duties as required or requested from the club.
Requirements:
Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, banquet cook, or prep cook Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures Ability to follow recipes and instructions Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks Familiar with industry's best practices Regular and reliable attendance. Performs other duties as required. Special projects as assigned.

Environment/Noise:
Occasionally works in extreme heat, wet or humid conditions (non-weather). Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate. • Food safety and sanitation training (Food Handlers Certification) •
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:
Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English). • Required to work on
Weekends, Evenings & Holidays Pay:
$21.00 - $23.00 per hour
