Job Description
Responsibilities Washing, cutting, and preparing fruits and vegetables Cooking eggs and preparing simple breakfast items Making wraps, sandwiches, bagels, and toast creations Portioning ingredients and stocking prep stations Build strong relationships with coworkers and managers to create a positive, supportive, and team-oriented work environment. Deliver exceptional customer service by providing warm, friendly interactions and ensuring every guest leaves satisfied. Prepare smoothies, freshly pressed juices, acai bowls, wellness shots, and toast items according to company standards. Assist guests with questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and wellness benefits while recommending products that enhance their experience. Maintain attractive and fully stocked wellness shot displays and merchandising areas. Continuously learn about our products, specialty menu offerings, ingredients, and wellness-focused lifestyle. Maintain daily inventory levels and restock ingredients, supplies, and stations as needed. Operate the Toast POS system, process transactions accurately, and handle cash responsibly. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment at all times. Clean and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, storage areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, counters, and floors. Receive deliveries and properly organize and store inventory according to food safety standards. Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of food service, food handling, restaurant, café, or related experience preferred. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required; some college preferred. Positive attitude and dependable attendance Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Basic food preparation and knife-handling skills. Basic math and reading skills with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to accurately count cash and process transactions. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and follow directions. High level of integrity, accountability, and ownership. Ability to stand for extended periods, work in varying temperature environments, and lift up to 35 pounds. Comfortable working around common food allergens. Availability to work weekends, holidays, day shifts, and evening shifts.
