• What you'll be doing as a Kitchen Assistant /

Prep Cook:

Preparing ingredients, including washing, chopping, slicing, and portioning food Assisting the culinary team with meal preparation and service Receiving, organizing, and properly storing food and supplies Washing cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment Maintaining clean and sanitary food-preparation and work areas Assisting with kitchen setup, cleaning, and closing duties Following food-safety and sanitation procedures Supporting the lead chef and kitchen team with additional duties as needed Available shifts:

All Available Job requirements: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady Previous commercial kitchen, restaurant, catering, or food-service experience strongly preferred Comfortable and experienced using kitchen knives safely for basic food preparation Able to work in a rustic, open-air camp kitchen environment Reliable, punctual, and able to report as scheduled for the duration of the assignment Strong communication and teamwork skills Able to follow instructions and work collaboratively with the lead chef and kitchen team Knowledge of basic food-safety and sanitation practices Able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with kitchen and food-preparation work Willing to assist with dishwashing, cleaning, and other kitchen-support duties as needed Background check and drug testing required Ready to take control of the way you work?
