We're looking for a dependable, motivated cook who can take ownership of daily BOH operations and work confidently with minimal oversight. This position is ideal for someone who is a strong self-starter, understands kitchen organization and food quality, and can step into a leadership role while still being hands-on on the line. Responsibilities Prep and execute recipes for sauces, meats, proteins, sides, and all other line items Work the line during service and step into any station as needed Prepare and execute orders efficiently during busy service Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety standards Monitor product levels and assist with inventory management and ordering Maintain organized walk-ins, prep areas, and dry storage Help ensure daily prep lists and production are completed Communicate product needs, shortages, and kitchen issues to management Help maintain kitchen systems and standards with minimal supervision Provide leadership and direction to other BOH staff when needed Help ensure the kitchen is properly set up for service and closed down correctly What We're Looking For 2+ years of professional kitchen experience preferred Strong line cooking and prep skills Ability to follow recipes and execute consistently Comfortable working independently and making responsible decisions Strong organizational and time-management skills Reliable, punctual, and accountable Ability to remain calm and productive in a high-volume environment Strong self-starter who doesn't need constant direction Someone who takes ownership of their work and the overall success of the kitchen Leadership experience is a plus The right candidate will be someone we can trust to keep the BOH running smoothly when management isn't directly in the kitchen. Pay starting at $21/hr plus tips.
