Responsibilities Assist with menu planning to ensure variety, nutritional value, and tenant needs are met. Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and safety guidelines Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, portioning, and presentation Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards Serve food efficiently and courteously to customers or guests in a timely manner Support catering events by preparing dishes and managing food service logistics Use knife skills and culinary techniques to enhance meal presentation and quality Help unload and put away the orders that come for the kitchen. Experience Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Hands-on experience in food preparation, cooking, or the food industry is preferred Familiarity with menu planning, food handling, and kitchen operations is beneficial Restaurant or catering experience will be considered an asset Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper sanitation practices is essential Strong skills in meal preparation, food service, and serving are important for success in this role Demonstrated culinary experience including knife skills and food presentation techniques Join us to bring your passion for food to life!
