Pinole, Ca Job Summary MexiHibachi is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and fast-paced Line Cook / Prep Cook to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking menu items according to company standards, maintaining cleanliness, and helping ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours. Ideal candidates work well under pressure, follow food safety procedures, and maintain a positive team attitude. Duties & Responsibilities Prepare meats, vegetables, sauces, rice, and other ingredients daily Cook menu items according to MexiHibachi recipes and portion standards Operate grills, fryers, flat tops, and other kitchen equipment safely Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout shifts Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Properly label, date, and store food products Restock kitchen inventory and prep stations as needed Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries Communicate effectively with kitchen and front counter staff Help reduce food waste and maintain portion control Complete opening, closing, and cleaning duties Work efficiently during busy rush periods Follow management instructions and company policies Qualifications Biling in Spanish & English is a Must. Previous kitchen or food prep experience preferred but not required Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong teamwork and communication skills Reliable transportation and punctual attendance Food Handler Certification preferred Schedule Part-time available Weekend and evening availability preferred Pay Competitive pay based on experience Opportunities for growth within the company
