We are looking for a passionate Cook who is skillful in food preparation and who can work in a fast-paced environment with a pleasing personality and the ability to work in a team for our Dietary DepartmentRESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and cook a variety of meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and resident preferences Ensure all food is presented in an appealing manner and meets health and safety standards Assist in menu planning and development to provide a variety of nutritious options Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and food preparation areas Collaborate with dietitians and nursing staff to accommodate special dietary requirements Provide training and support to kitchen staff and support personnel Keep accurate records of food preparation and meal services for compliance and quality assuranceQUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience as a Dietary Aide/Cook is preferred. Must have prior experience working in a healthcare or hospitality setting as a dietary cook. Interest in working with the geriatric population ServSafe Food Handler Certification. Ability to prepare meals in accordance with specific dietary restrictions or special needs Excellent multitasking and time management skills Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectivelyWHAT WE OFFER
