This position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by preparing delicious meals and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, demonstrating a passion for cooking and food safety while contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in menu planning and meal preparation, ensuring quality and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including dishwashing and sanitizing work areas. Handle food safely, adhering to all health regulations and guidelines. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Utilize proper knife skills for food preparation while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Assist with catering events as needed, providing exceptional service to guests. Support the dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary needs when required. Qualifications Previous experience in a culinary role or restaurant environment is preferred. Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities and food service operations is a plus.
