Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. This role involves both meal preparation and cooking, ensuring that all food is prepared according to our restaurant's standards of excellence. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping, slicing, and measuring as needed. Cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food handling. Assist in catering events as required, providing exceptional service and quality. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment. Experience Previous experience in a cook or prep cook role within the food industry is preferred. Familiarity with fine dining standards and practices is a plus. Proficient knife skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques are essential. Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Experience in catering services is beneficial but not required.
