Our brand-new, state-of-the-art senior living community is preparing for our grand opening, and we're building an incredible Culinary team from the ground up. As a Line Cook , you'll enjoy a dependable schedule with no late-night shifts while doing the kind of cooking you can take pride in. You'll prepare made-from-scratch dishes using our in-house recipes, execute an extensive made-to-order, restaurant-style menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and help bring Chef-created menus to life for special events throughout the year. YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare made-from-scratch dishes according to Belmont Village recipes, specifications and quality standards Execute an extensive made-to-order, restaurant-style menu, efficiently preparing multiple orders while managing cook times and maintaining consistency Follow recipes and established standards for portioning, preparation and plate presentation Execute Chef-created menus for special events and dining experiences, maintaining established standards for quality and presentation Maintain a clean, organized and well-stocked kitchen while following food safety regulations, sanitation standards, checklists and company procedures Make hospitality, quality and resident satisfaction a priority in every meal and dining experience The certification says Great Place to Work®.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English Minimum of 6 months Line Cook experience in a high volume restaurant setting Proven success with basic to intermediate Culinary skills such as knife handling, accurate measurements and cooking methods Ability to work assigned shifts including early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community Offers of employment are contingent upon completion of applicable post-offer pre-employment screenings, which may include a job-related background check, drug screening, physical examination, and TB testing, consistent with applicable laws.
