Job Description
Now Hiring Experienced Line Cooks! The Party Staff, Inc . is currently hiring dependable, experienced Line Cooks to support corporate dining kitchens, universities, catering companies, hotels, private clubs, and event venues throughout San Diego County. We are looking for cooks who can step into fast-paced kitchens with confidence and assist with breakfast, lunch, prep, grill, sauté, pantry, and banquet production. This is a flexible, on-call position with consistent weekday morning opportunities available. Why Work With Us? Weekly pay Flexible scheduling Consistent morning shifts Opportunity to work at premier venues and corporate dining facilities Variety of kitchen environments and culinary experience Fast hiring process Supportive staffing team Pay $22.00-$24.00 per hour base pay, depending on experience & the event Weekly pay Typical Schedule Monday-Friday morning shifts Start times as early as 6:00am Shift lengths vary by assignment Flexible scheduling through our staffing platform Responsibilities Prepare and cook food according to recipes and kitchen standards Support breakfast and lunch service Work stations including grill, sauté, pantry, prep, and plating Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards Follow food safety and temperature guidelines Assist with stocking, setup, and breakdown Work efficiently during high-volume service periods Communicate professionally with chefs and kitchen teams Requirements Minimum 6 months of professional kitchen experience Restaurant, catering, hotel, banquet, or corporate dining experience preferred Ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments Reliable transportation required Food Handler Card required (or ability to obtain within 30 days) Reliable attendance and punctuality required Areas We Service Assignments are located throughout San Diego County within approximately 25 miles of Mission Valley, including: La Jolla Del Mar Carlsbad Encinitas Downtown San Diego Mira Mesa Sorrento Valley Pacific Beach Point Loma Mission Valley Escondido And surrounding areas About Us For over 37 years, The Party Staff, Inc. has been a leading hospitality staffing company on the West Coast, connecting culinary professionals with top hospitality employers and premier events.
