This role involves preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and safely. The ideal candidate will have food service experience, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to food safety standards. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where quality and efficiency are prioritized. Duties Operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to prepare ingredients and cook menu items. Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency and quality in every dish. Assist in food preparation tasks such as slicing, cutting, and portioning ingredients using proper techniques. Cook food items according to established standards, maintaining proper timing and presentation. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth workflow. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning routines. Manage food safety protocols by adhering to safety standards during production, storage, and handling of ingredients. Support the overall operation of the kitchen by assisting with food service as needed. Qualifications Previous food service or kitchen experience is preferred. Knowledge of operating kitchen equipment and food preparation techniques. Ability to follow recipes precisely and maintain consistency in dish quality. Strong communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen environment. Commitment to cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in food production.
