Whether you're an experienced cook or looking to continue growing your culinary career, you'll work alongside a talented team dedicated to exceptional Italian-inspired cuisine, quality ingredients, and genuine hospitality. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a brand-new kitchen from day one. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and execute dishes according to chef standards and recipes Complete daily prep including chopping, slicing, portioning, marinating, and organizing ingredients Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift Work efficiently during service while supporting the entire kitchen team Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Assist with inventory organization, stock rotation, and kitchen prep lists Ensure every dish is prepared consistently, cooked properly, and presented with care Help maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented kitchen environment Qualifications Previous experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or in a professional kitchen preferred Strong knife skills and knowledge of fundamental cooking techniques Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards Experience in Italian cuisine or upscale dining is a plus, but not required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Dependable, organized, and able to work well as part of a team Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Why Join Anchora Osteria ?
