Kitchen Cook / Prep Cook Tay Ho Santa Clara Santa Clara, CA Job Details Part-time $18.70 - $25.00 an hour 7 hours ago Qualifications Pre-cooking preparation Cutting Ability to follow instructions Kitchen stations Food Handler Certification Full Job Description We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Cook / Prep Cook to join our team. This position will help with food preparation, cooking, and general kitchen duties. Experience in a restaurant kitchen is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients for daily restaurant service Wash, cut, chop, and portion vegetables, meats, and other ingredients Assist with cooking and preparing menu items Follow recipes and portion guidelines Keep prep areas, cooking stations, and equipment clean and organized Properly store and label food Follow food safety and sanitation procedures Restock ingredients and supplies as needed Assist other kitchen staff during busy periods Help with general kitchen cleaning and closing duties Qualifications Restaurant or kitchen experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Reliable and punctual Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team Willing to learn different kitchen stations Able to stand for extended periods and perform normal kitchen lifting and prep duties California Food Handler Card required or must be obtained after hiring Position Full-time or part-time Day, evening, and weekend shifts may be available Pay based on experience We are looking for someone who is dependable, works well with others, and is interested in becoming a long-term member of our kitchen team.
