Portions, cuts, slices, dips, batters, breads, whips, beats, maintains holding temperature, fries and sautésSelects cuts of meat, poultry, shellfish, fish, game or vegetables to be used for frying or sautéingPlates menu items along with appropriate garnishFollows recipes and complies with portion sizes, quality standards, department rules and procedures, and Department of Health regulationsPerforms other duties as required or assignedQualifications1+ years in a food preparation positionGood knife skills and finger dexterity to use small tools and utensils adeptlyDegree from a culinary arts training program preferredJob RequirementsAvailability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidaysAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squattingAbility to work with commercial equipment including stand mixers, ovens, torches, etc.
