Line Cook Bess - 4.3 Sierra Madre, CA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $22 - $24 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Kitchen health and safety standards Hospitality Food service workstation cleanliness Food service cleaning Italian cuisine Full Job Description Line Cook 20-30 hours/week • $20-$24/hour, depending on experience We're a neighborhood wine bar & Italian resturant looking for a Line Cook who enjoys working with good ingredients, cares about the details, and knows how to keep their cool when the tickets start flying.
The Schedule Tuesday-Friday:
Prep and dinner service (minimum 2 days)
Saturday & Sunday:
Brunch line cook 20-30 hours per week What You'll Do Prep and execute dishes in a Chef-lead scratch kitchen , from Italian-American classics to seasonal specials. Work dinner and prep shifts Tuesday through Friday. Work the line during Saturday and Sunday brunch, keeping pace with a busy service. Keep your station clean, organized, and ready for service. Follow recipes, portioning, and food-safety standards. Work closely with the Chef and kitchen team to keep food moving smoothly and consistently. Help with prep, closing, cleaning, and the occasional kitchen rescue mission. Bring a positive, team-first attitude to every shift. What We're Looking For Minimum 2 years of professional kitchen or line-cook experience required. Experience working in a scratch kitchen preferred. A positive attitude and a willingness to be part of a supportive, hardworking team. Reliable, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. A genuine interest in food and hospitality. Ability to communicate clearly and work well as part of a small team. Pride in what comes out of your window—because the food matters.
Compensation:
$20-$24/hour, based on experience
