Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team! Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items with precision, creativity, and consistency, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards. Assist in menu planning by suggesting new recipes and improving existing dishes based on customer feedback and culinary trends. Handle food preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients efficiently and safely. Maintain a clean and organized work station in compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours while maintaining high standards of food presentation. Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure safe meal preparation practices. Support catering events or special functions by preparing large quantities of food as needed while adhering to recipes and portion controls. Qualifications Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with specialized meal requirements. Proven kitchen experience in a restaurant or food industry setting, showcasing strong culinary skills including knife techniques and meal preparation. Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene and compliance. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in food presentation and quality. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude, ready to serve guests with enthusiasm and professionalism. Experience in menu planning, food service operations, or catering is a plus.
