Duties Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and slicers Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all ingredients Assist in menu planning by preparing components for daily specials and catering events Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen appliances throughout shifts Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service Adhere strictly to recipe specifications and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service environments Strong knowledge of food safety management and sanitation standards Excellent knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and ingredient prep Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and effectively Familiarity with dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus Effective communication skills for seamless coordination with kitchen staff Experience in menu planning, meal preparation, and catering is highly desirable Knowledge of safety standards in food production and food handling practices within the food industry Embark on a culinary journey where your skills make a real impact!
