Duties Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality. Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and food processors safely and efficiently. Follow food safety sanitizing procedures rigorously to maintain cleanliness and prevent contamination. Handle food production tasks including dough making, topping assembly, baking, and finishing touches for optimal presentation. Maintain proper food handling techniques during meal preparation to ensure health standards are met. Support high-volume production during busy hours by managing multiple orders while adhering to recipe adherence and portion control. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially with pizza or fine dining experience preferred. Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and food safety management. Strong knife skills and familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment essential for efficient meal prep. Experience with dietary department procedures or dietary aide roles is a plus for understanding special dietary needs. Knowledge of food industry standards related to food handling, sanitizing procedures, and high-volume production processes. Background in catering or large-scale food production is advantageous for managing multiple orders seamlessly.
