$22.00-$24.00 per hour (DOE)

Full-Time Join Our Dietary Team Rossmoor Post Acute is looking for a dependable and motivated Dietary Cook to join our dedicated team. If you enjoy preparing nutritious meals, take pride in maintaining a clean kitchen, and want to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents, we'd love to hear from you. As a Dietary Cook, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality meals that meet each resident's nutritional needs while ensuring all food safety and sanitation standards are followed.

Ensure food is prepared, portioned, and served in accordance with dietary guidelines and quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, workstations, and food preparation areas. Properly store, label, and rotate food items using safe food handling practices. Monitor food temperatures and maintain accurate production records. Work collaboratively with dietary staff to ensure timely meal service. Assist with inventory, stocking, and receiving food deliveries as needed. Follow all federal, state, local, and facility policies regarding food safety and sanitation. Qualifications Previous cooking experience in a healthcare, skilled nursing, hospital, or commercial kitchen preferred. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and infection control practices. Ability to prepare meals according to therapeutic and modified diets. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain one as required).
