West Covina hotel is now hiring for an entry level Line & Prep Cook position. Some kitchen experience is preferred. We will train if you have the right attitude and work ethic. Cook Job Responsibilities:

Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies. Prepares food items and making sure not to over-prepare estimated needs Date all food containers and following FIFO, making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures. Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods following recipes and portion standards. Return all food items not used on next shift to designated storage areas, being sure to cover and date all perishables. Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage following OSHA standards Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift. Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs. Perform other duties as requested by management.' '
