Job Description
Overview Looking for a cook to join our team, specifically the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts. Will be placed on Dinner or Lunch depending on experience and availability. Looking to hire soon. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to menu specifications and recipes, ensuring consistency and quality. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, stoves, and slicing machines. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by following proper sanitation procedures and cleaning schedules. Handle food safely by following food safety management protocols, including proper storage, handling, and temperature controls. Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service. Support events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining presentation standards. Qualifications Prior experience in food preparation within a restaurant or food industry setting. Familiarity with food safety standards in production environments. Ability to follow recipes accurately and adhere to portion control guidelines. Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork in a busy kitchen environment.
