This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills while working alongside experienced professionals who share your enthusiasm for the food industry. Apply only if you are available between Thursday to Sunday. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards, ensuring consistency and quality. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients to streamline kitchen operations. Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling, storage, and labeling of ingredients. Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by efficiently managing multiple orders and maintaining a clean workstation. Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff on menu planning ideas, ingredient substitutions, and special dietary requests. Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature and presented attractively before serving. Participate in catering events or special functions as needed, providing excellent food service to enhance guest experiences. Experience Candidates should bring a strong background in the food industry with relevant experience such as dietary aide work, restaurant or fine dining experience, or culinary training. Prior exposure to food preparation and handling is essential, along with proficiency in knife skills and meal preparation techniques. Experience in catering or serving roles is highly valued. A thorough understanding of food safety protocols and kitchen operations will support success in this role. Candidates with dietary department experience or dietary aide experience will find this position especially aligned with their skills. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality is crucial for thriving in this energetic environment.
