In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes with precision and creativity. Your culinary skills will help deliver memorable dining experiences, ensuring each plate meets our high standards of quality, presentation, and safety. Whether working during busy service hours or assisting with special catering events, your enthusiasm and attention to detail will make a real difference in our vibrant kitchen environment. Must be able to work swing or graveyards 3pm-10pm 6pm-1am or 9pm-5am Duties Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations to ensure food safety and efficiency Assist with menu planning by suggesting new ideas and ensuring ingredient availability Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination Support food preparation for catering events and special functions, ensuring timely delivery Use knife skills effectively for chopping, slicing, dicing, and other prep tasks Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours Skills Proven experience in a restaurant or food industry setting, with strong kitchen experience Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques Skilled in cooking methods, meal preparation, and food presentation Experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus Ability to plan menus and contribute ideas for diverse culinary offerings Excellent knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques Strong understanding of food service operations, including catering and serving processes Join us to be part of a lively kitchen team where your culinary talents are valued!
