In this role, you will prepare and cook made-to-order meals that delight our residents and guests, supporting a high-quality dining experience. We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic culinary team and is passionate about helping take our culinary program to the next level while contributing to a welcoming and enjoyable community atmosphere. This is a part time position working Saturday and Sunday morning/afternoon. Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare all food according to the menu under the direction of the Executive Chef Ensure proper preparation, portioning, and serving of foods according to standardized recipes Communicates frequently and professionally with other line cooks, chef, managers, and front of house team members Adheres to all safety and sanitation standards Ensures all food in refrigerator, freezer, and dry storage are labeled and dated

Qualifications:

Prior kitchen experience Requires knowledge of special diets Due to the nature of the work performed by Ascent Living Communities, and that this position works with a vulnerable population, we do require a criminal background check be completed

Pay:

$17.50-$18.50 an hour, based on experience
