Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Afternoon/Evening Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of meals during afternoon and evening shifts, adhering strictly to established recipes and dietary guidelines Plan menus that meet nutritional standards while incorporating diverse flavors and presentation styles Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, braising pans, poaching stations, and food processors Handle food with care, following strict food safety management procedures to prevent contamination and ensure sanitation Assist in food production for large-scale meal service or catering events, maintaining high-volume production standards Execute food handling techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and other cooking methods with precision Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area through sanitizing procedures and proper food safety practices to uphold health regulations Experience Previous experience as a dietary aide or in a dietary department is highly desirable Proven background in food preparation within restaurant or catering environments, especially in high-volume settings Strong knowledge of culinary techniques including grilling, braising, poaching, and recipe adherence Experience operating commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitizing procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations Knowledge of menu planning tailored to dietary needs and nutritional guidelines Prior experience in fine dining or upscale food service environments is a plus Join our team if you're passionate about creating exceptional meals with skillful knife work, innovative cooking techniques, and a commitment to quality. Pay:
