Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu standards Cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, slicers, and food processors Follow food safety protocols and handle food properly to prevent contamination Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking areas through regular cleaning and sanitation Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal prep and service flow Assist with menu planning by preparing ingredients in advance for upcoming shifts or special events Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is preferred; dietary aide or dietary department experience is a plus Strong knife skills and slicing techniques to prepare meats, vegetables, and other ingredients Knowledge of food safety standards and food handling procedures in a commercial setting Ability to follow recipes accurately and adhere to portion control guidelines Experience with meal preparation, catering, or large-scale food production is advantageous Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen environment Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks efficiently Join us if you're passionate about culinary arts, eager to learn new skills, and committed to delivering outstanding food experiences!
