Anchor Bar began in Buffalo, New York in 1935 and in 1964, the owner, Teressa Bellissimo, created the first ever Buffalo chicken wings! Anchor Bar has not expanded and we are opening the first location in Loveland, Colorado. If you are passionate about creating an exceptional food experience for people, enjoying sports, and working in a fun environment then we want you to be a part of our team! Pay range is $18 to $25 per hour based on experience. Full-time and Part-time available.
Reports to:
General Manager & Assistant Managers Responsibilities:
Prepares a variety of wings, pizzas, sandwiches, poultry, vegetables and other food items for cooking in fryers, broilers, ovens, grills, stovetop, and a variety of other kitchen equipment Communicates with all other kitchen team members to ensure that fresh hot menu items are being prepared in a timely manner. Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products served. Knows and complies consistently with Anchor Bar's standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures. Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products to assure a smooth service period. Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area including tables, shelves, ovens, stovetops, range and refrigeration equipment, slicers, mixers, etc. Properly preps ingredients according to the Prep Appendix for use in preparing menu items. Properly prepares menu items in accordance with the Recipes Appendix. Follows proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes. Handles, stores, and rotates all products properly. Assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed. Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations. Assists others in closing the kitchen. Attends all scheduled team member meetings and bring suggestions for improvement. Performs other related duties as assigned by the manager-on-duty.
