Uncle Sam's Pancake House is a busy breakfast and lunch spot looking for a prep cook to help keep our kitchen ready and running. This role is prep-focused but may include cooking on the line, so we're looking for someone willing to learn our way of doing things and grow into the job. We'll train the right person. Experience isn't required, but it improves your chances. What you'll do: Prep ingredients and stock stations for the day's service Cook on the line as needed Keep your station clean, organized, and up to standard Follow our recipes and procedures the way we do them here Help with general kitchen cleaning and closing tasks What we're looking for: Willing to learn our way of doing things Available for early mornings, as early as 5:30 AM Able to work a full shift of 8+ hours on your feet Dependable and on time Clean, presentable appearance and good personal hygiene Team player with a good attitude Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for a full shift Experience improves your chances but is not required. If you want to learn and you show up ready to work, we'll teach you the rest.
