The Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality, nutritious meals that meet resident dietary needs and follow planned menus. Duties include food preparation, safe food handling, following diet orders, portion control, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and assisting with inventory and stocking. Ideal candidates work well in a team environment, can handle a fast-paced kitchen, and are committed to providing excellent service to residents. Experience in healthcare, LTC, or large-volume cooking is preferred but not required. Must follow all food safety, sanitation, and regulatory guidelines.
