Cook Campus Dining East Haddam, CT Description:
SAGE Dining Services® is seeking a hourly Cook for private boarding school located in East Haddam, CT . We enjoy working together and our client community is very appreciative of the menus we we produce for them. Our scratch kitchen emphasizes fresh, wholesome meals crafted with care. Enjoy a work environment where creativity meets culinary excellence, all without late nights or weekends . As a member of our team, you'll play a key role in preparing and serving delicious meals to our students and faculty, ensuring every dish meets our high standards of quality and flavor. That makes our work so much more fun to do! Typical Schedule Monday•Friday 11:00 am•7 pm We work as a team and since we cross train, we can pick up and help each other get the food out on time and our students and client see us all happy and imagine our smiles behind our masks!

Mission based company with values you trust. follows school schedule most holidays off What you'll do: Produce assigned hot and cold foods in a timely and accurate manner. Provide meals that consistently exceed our guests' expectations. Ensure that all food is appropriately displayed and visually appealing. Interact cheerfully with SAGE guests and Team Members and provide service with a smile. Prepare assigned menu items in strict accordance with SAGE recipes. Clean all work areas, equipment, and customer service areas on an ongoing basis. Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques always. (HACCP). Adhere to SAGE's safety and allergy prevention policies. Assist in training new Cooks and culinary Team Members. Adapt to additional responsibilities as assigned by management. Endure exposure to extreme temperatures; intense heat and freezing cold. Washing dishes Serving students and faculty restocking dining room What you'll need: Experience with cooking strongly preferred. Ability to set up a serving/action station. Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in detail. Experience in customer service strongly preferred. Ability to interact with community and team in a cheerful and friendly manner.
