We are a 90-bed family-owned business, and our mission has and continues to be- Quality of Life through Quality of Care. Being part of our team at Whispering Pines is different than other "corporate" nursing home facilities. We provide ongoing training led by experienced and dedicated staff and medical professionals and in a dignified and comfortable environment. If you meet the qualifications below and are interested in learning more about Whispering Pines, we encourage you to apply. Looking for dedicated Cook's Prepare food in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, with our established policies and procedures as directed by the Director of Dining Services, to assure that quality food service is provided at all times. Must be knowledgeable of dining service procedures as well as related laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to hospital and nursing home operations. Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, the appearance of work areas, and perform regular inspections of food service areas for sanitation, order, safety and proper performance of assigned duties. Must be able to push, pull or lift various ingredients, containers and goods, all without restrictions up to 51 lbs.
EXPERIENCE
One (1) year dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility or other related medical facility preferred, but not necessary. Great wages and benefits We are an equal opportunity employer.
