This position will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting network infrastructure, computer hardware, and related technology systems. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while providing professional technical support to employees and customers. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network equipment, including routers, switches, access points, and firewalls. Set up, repair, upgrade, and maintain desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and other hardware. Diagnose and resolve network connectivity, hardware, and performance issues. Monitor network systems and assist with maintaining network security and reliability. Install and configure operating systems, software, drivers, and hardware components. Perform hardware replacements, upgrades, and preventive maintenance. Troubleshoot wired and wireless network connections. Maintain accurate documentation of hardware, network equipment, configurations, and repairs. Assist with user accounts, permissions, and basic IT support when needed. Respond to technical support requests in a timely and professional manner. Work with vendors and service providers when hardware or network issues require additional support. Follow company security, data protection, and IT procedures. Stay current with networking technologies, hardware, and industry best practices. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in IT, networking, or a related field is a plus. Previous experience with computer hardware, networking, or IT support preferred. Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, LAN/WAN, and basic network troubleshooting. Experience working with Windows computers and common business software. Ability to diagnose hardware and connectivity problems effectively. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Skills & Certifications CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications. Experience with Dell, Ubiquiti, Aruba, Sonicwall or other networking equipment. Experience with network cabling and hardware installation. Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, or cloud-based systems. Basic understanding of cybersecurity and network security practices.
